Chloe Esponda, an 11th-grader at South Torrance High in California, won the Division 2 girls junior 3-mile race in 18:29.9 at the 48th Dana Hills Nike Invitational at Dana Hills High in Dana Point. Esponda helped South Torrance take third overall with 103 points.
